I'm Rachel! Live in Tennessee. I am officially reduced to a lowly freshman once again. But this time in college! Some other 18 year old girl would put on here about how this is her trying to be unique or something. But I'm just here to be a christian. And not just to say I'm one, but to show it through what I say, how I dress, who I date, where I go. I'm just here to bring whoever I meet closer to God. Wanna know anything else? "Marry your best friend. I do not say that lightly. Really, truly find the strongest, happiest friendship in the person you fall in love with. Someone who speaks highly of you. Someone you can laugh with. The kind of laughs that make your belly ache, and your nose snort. The embarrassing, earnest, healing kind of laughs. Wit is important. Life is too short not to love someone who lets you be a fool with them. Make sure they are somebody who lets you cry, too. Despair will come. Find someone that you want to be there with you through those times. Most importantly, marry the one that makes passion, love, and madness combine and course through you. A love that will never dilute - even when the waters get deep, and dark."

Zach Sobiech, at the age of 14, found out he had a rare form of terminal cancer. So he became a rock star, and millions of people got to see his music before he passed away on May 20, 2013. This is his beautiful story.
In many ways Zach reminds me of Augustus Waters. Or maybe Augustus reminds me of him. It’s heartening to know that there are people, teenagers who can change our lives and how we think.
The world will miss Zach Sobiech.
Please read! This is totally worth a few minutes of your time.
